Microsoft Project

Microsoft Project Professional is the desktop tool for planning projects, managing resources and keeping work on schedule. Build detailed plans, assign your team and track progress from start to finish. It is a one-time purchase for Windows, installed with your digital product key.

Why choose Microsoft Project

• Plan with confidence: build schedules, set tasks and dependencies, and keep projects on track.
• Ready-made templates: start quickly with pre-built templates.
• Manage your resources: assign people and balance workloads to build the right team.
• Stay connected: hover over team members' names in a plan to see if they are online and start a chat or call through Microsoft Teams (licensed separately).
• No subscription: Microsoft says Project Professional is a perpetual license that does not expire once activated.

Compare the versions

When Microsoft support ends, a version no longer receives security updates or technical support from Microsoft. It keeps working, but we recommend the 2024 version for the best protection.
